Commitment to Accuracy
Canceromachy combines medical information, Greek mythology, history, personal experience, original storytelling, and AI-assisted writing. I make a reasonable effort to keep factual information accurate, clearly sourced, and appropriately separated from interpretation and original Canceromachy mythology.
If a meaningful factual error is discovered, I will correct it. Medical errors or outdated health information will receive particular attention because inaccurate information could affect real-world decisions.
How Corrections Are Handled
Minor edits involving spelling, grammar, formatting, readability, or broken links may be made without a correction notice. If an error materially changes what a reader should understand, the page may include a note explaining that it was corrected or substantially updated.
Greek mythology often contains conflicting ancient traditions, so disagreement between sources is not necessarily an error. When multiple traditions or reasonable interpretations exist, Canceromachy will try to identify them rather than present one version as universally correct.
Original Canceromachy mythology may also evolve as the story develops. Changes to fictional canon are not factual corrections, but original material will continue to be clearly distinguished from ancient Greek tradition.
AI-assisted content is held to the same standard as other content. AI can make mistakes, so factual claims should be checked against appropriate sources rather than accepted simply because they sound authoritative.
Reporting an Error
If you find information that appears inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or incorrectly sourced, I welcome the opportunity to review it. Good-faith corrections help improve Canceromachy and the growing Divine Library.
